AI Nutritional — Calculate your protein deficit for free

Do you have a protein deficiency? Check in 1 minute.

Quota Vita's artificial intelligence assistant calculates your daily protein intake based on your weight, activity, and diet — and tells you if you're meeting it.

How the protein deficiency test works

The test is a one-minute conversation with our AI. You tell it your weight, your activity level (sedentary, active, or athlete), and how many servings of protein you eat on a normal day. With this information, the protein calculator applies common scientific recommendations — between 1.2 and 2.0 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day — and returns three figures: your recommended daily intake, your estimated intake, and the difference between the two. If there's a protein deficiency, it tells you how many grams it is and how to cover it with everyday foods or a whey protein shake.

Why protein matters

Protein is the building material for muscles, but also for the immune system, skin, hair, and neurotransmitters. Insufficient intake maintained over time translates into fatigue, loss of muscle mass, more infections, and poorer recovery after exercise — and is especially common in people over 50 and those who train without adjusting their diet. Most people don't know how much protein they actually eat: that's why we've created this free tool.

Who is behind this

Quota Vita is a Catalan brand of whey protein with Mediterranean flavors — crema catalana, horchata, natural — made in Catalonia with only 3 ingredients and 24 g of protein per serving. Our mission is to harness the whey from Catalan cheese factories — over 740 tons are generated daily — by building a repurposing plant in our own country. The test is free and requires no registration.

Frequently asked questions

Is the test free?

Yes, completely free and without registration. You can do it directly on this page.

Does it replace a dietitian-nutritionist?

No. The values are indicative and based on general recommendations. For a personalized assessment, consult a registered dietitian-nutritionist.

What do I do if I have a protein deficiency?

The test quantifies it for you and suggests how to cover it: first with protein-rich foods, and if it's difficult to reach, with a whey shake of 24g per serving, like our Crema Catalana flavored Whey.

Where does Quota Vita's protein come from?

The product is made in Catalonia. Our future mission is to produce from the whey of Catalan cheese factories: you can read more about it on our project.
